The minister of state and foreign affairs and president of the Council of Ministers of the European Union, Luís Amado, chairs the IV Ministerial Meeting of the Intergovernmental Conference of accession with Turkey on Wednesday the 19th. The meeting will be held at the Justus Lipsius Building in Brussels and will have the presence of the European commissioner for enlargement, Olli Rehn and the Turkish minister for foreign affairs, Ali Babacan.
This meeting's agenda anticipates the opening of negotiations of two new chapters for the Turkish accession to the EU: Chapter 21, dedicated to trans-European networks and Chapter 28, which deals with health and consumers protection.
