Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Co-operation (SENEC) João Gomes Cravinho will pay an official visit to Senegal, February 8, for political contacts and the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation and a Cultural Agreement with this African country.
In Dakar, João Gomes Cravinho will hold meetings with President Abdoulaye Wade, SRSG for West Africa Said Djinnit and MFA Maitre Madické Niang, with whom the SENEC will sign the first Memorandum of Cooperation between Portugal and Senegal.
The signing of this Memorandum of Cooperation and of the Cultural Agreement will consolidate and deepen the friendly ties between Portugal and Senegal and promote economic, cultural, scientific and technical cooperation in the framework of economic and social development policies.
